Ken Gibo
Although the program was reestablished in 2019, the Blades have a rich history dating back to their foundation in 1990’s by roller hockey icon Ken Gibo. Under Ken's leadership, the Blades became a nationally recognized program and played a pivotal role in developing new hockey players through the establishment of the Coast 2 Coast Roller Hockey rink in Huntington Beach, California. Ken's lasting impact on the sport of roller hockey and our program continues to be evident today. Our mission, goals, and philosophies have all been significantly influenced by Ken's legacy.

The Logo
While the logo on the front of jersey changes every two years, the core of the logo always stays the same. The Blades script has always stayed front and centered on every variation of the Blades logo while “OC” or other symbols have usually been in the background.
